In the heart of the Monbazillac vineyards, we spend the day at Château de Bridoire, the castle with games of yesteryear and mysterious valleys ... Follow our family in this Wonderland!
The adventure begins in a fairy tale setting...
As soon as we push the door of the labyrinth of the Mysterious Valley, adjoining Bridoire Castle, we immediately sense the secret and magical atmosphere. We set off into the depths of this "enchanted forest" with our information sheet to help us to solve fifteen tests and riddles!
We discover with joy a lush and wild nature. And we are delighted on this very sunny day to enjoy the cool air in a shady forest! The tests succede one another for nearly 2 hours passing through troglodyte shelters, the river, springs, streams and other picturesque ruins... We rack our brains to solve some of the clues and it is really important to observe everything. But the game is worth every minute, and what a pleasure to find the answer! Be warned... It's a journey full of surprises and magic. We can't wait for the next holidays to test "The Forgotten Citadel", a more physical course with rope lifts of ropes and gradients. A mix of Survivor and Fort Boyard!

... And continues in a medieval setting with more than 80 games from by-gone times!
We decide to purchase the combined ticket for both the Castle and the Mysterious Valley. And we were not disappointed as there are so many things to do! There are historical games faithfully reconstructed inside and outside the castle. Some even hidden under awnings and medieval tents.
My daughter loved playing on the giant swing with her aunt. And what a pleasure to see her so happy when she won the life-size chess game! With her grandmother, we had fun dressing up as princesses! A moment full of laughter! At the stables, we meet a young woman, Alice, the owner of the place, who leads a horse into the ring for some dressage steps to stretch his legs, the public is enthralled. An impressive show!
After all this emotion, we had to take a break... On the shady terrace, I sipped the new artisanal local cola. My daughter prefers homemade strawberry ice cream. The castle restaurant is part of an organic and eco-responsible approach offering its customers a range of local products, wooden cutlery, cardboard plates, straws and cups.
