Le Floréal, a meeting spot in Belleville
Halfway between restaurant and cultural space, Bar Floréal is primarily a place for meetings and exchanges in the Belleville area. Occupied for 30 years by a group of photographers, the listed building is an emblem of the district with its Art Nouveau façade. Floréal has an original concept, with rotating chefs and a constantly surprising cuisine, always using fresh products from local sources.
Le Beslay, a haven of peace between Bastille and République
Nestled between the Bastille and République districts, Le Beslay is thought of as a place of life, set around its large open kitchen in a space bathed in light. The atmosphere is cosy, chic and modern. On the menu we find the delights of young Italian chef Antonella Finelli, who cut his teeth at Le Divellec and La Grande Cascade. It’s impossible not to be tempted by his refined cuisine, made using 100% fresh and largely organic products.
Bioburger, the 100% organic fast food joint
Who said fast food and quality don’t go hand in hand? Certainly not Anthony Darré and Louis Frack, the two founders of Bioburger. They want to give meaning to this type of restaurant and democratise access to organic food with an iconic product loved by all: the burger! For this, the two passionate acolytes shook up the codes of street food, choosing products derived from 100% organic farming, delivered daily to their many restaurants in Paris.
La Bouteille d’Or, opposite Notre-Dame
Transforming the oldest restaurant in Paris into a trendy and dynamic place: this was the aim of the two history- and food-mad partners who took over La Bouteille d’Or. This hallowed place formerly welcomed 1,631 aristocrats and Parisian intellectuals – and it’s been given a new lease of life that respects the seasons with 100% homemade cuisine using fresh, mostly organic products. All in a trendy atmosphere overlooking Notre-Dame de Paris: a new address must!
La Bouteille d’Or
La Maison Plisson, showcasing sustainability
On the Place du Marché Saint-Honoré, with a general food shop and a gourmet restaurant, this second address of the Maison Plisson fulfils its mission to showcase local produce and the work of French producers. It buys seasonal products, rigorously selected from passionate breeders and producers, and high-quality groceries. At the family-run restaurant, products are cooked in a similarly respectful and sustainable way.
Café Jules, for 100% French hot dogs
This modern, refined café on the ground floor of Printemps Haussmann is named after Jules Jaluzot, founder of Le Printemps. Here you can order delicious, 100% French hot dogs, revisited by a Meilleur Ouvrier de France. The Breton hot dog is topped with lobster, the Basque teases the tastebuds with chorizo and Espelette pepper, while the simple Parisian is based on a ham sausage from Paris and an organic deviled egg.
Le Mayo, a friendly spot in the 17th
In the heart of the 17th arrondissement of Paris, Le Mayo is a new space bridging the gap between an after-work hangout and a Parisian bistro. This vibrant place offers cuisine full of flavours. Chef Rafael Casas’ menu is a tribute to the savoir-faire of many French producers, whose fresh products are cooked with respect and flair. All dishes can be shared – but greedy ones can feast on their own!
