__Q: In your travel guide, you recommend a stay at the Roch Hotel&Spa 5*. What makes it so outstanding?

A: I fell under the charm of this hotel at the first moment. It is a confidential place just a few steps from the rue Faubourg St-Honoré, in the heart of Paris. Inside, the vibrant blue walls immerse us into the cool and chic spirit of the famous architect and interior designer Sarah Lavoine (External link) . By the way, the color even bears her name: Sarah blue! This 37-room boutique hotel offers a home-like atmosphere with five-star service. There is a very nice library for a tea time or a business meeting. A restaurant and a terrace overlooking an inner courtyard, a well-kept secret for Parisians living in the neighborhood. Furthermore, the hotel has a spa and a swimming pool to relax after strolling through the streets of Paris.

Q: What route do you recommend to get to Galeries Lafayette from the Roch Hotel&Spa 5*? What are the must-sees to visit?

A: The location of the hotel is just perfect. You are few steps away from the Opera Garnier, the Galeries Lafayette (External link) or the Jardin des Tuileries and the Louvre. There are plenty of choices to enjoy Paris! You are also just a few minutes’ walk from the Place St-Honoré to eat on a terrace and from the Place Vendôme, one of the 5 royal squares of Paris and one of my favorites. If you love home decor like me, I invite you to visit Sarah Lavoine's boutique located at 9 rue Saint-Roch. Craving a pastry? You're just two steps away from the famous address of pastry chef Sébastien Gaudard (External link) , nicknamed "the Tom Ford" of the pastry store. You can also find a lunch menu and a delicious selection of aromatic teas. The place has a charming terrace as well as an intimate room upstairs, under the arcades of the Place des Pyramides. You can find additional information in my guide (External link) !

Q: Why should we visit Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann when we go to Paris?

A: It's a must in Paris! An incursion into 120 years of French history, elegance and art de vivre. The dome is one of the most majestic symbols of Paris that never ceases to amaze us any time of the year. It can now be admired thanks to the "Glasswalk", a 9-metre footbridge suspended 16 metres above the void! The view is breathtaking. The roof terrace in summer is a popular place for Parisians for the view of Paris and the Eiffel Tower but also for the nice restaurant. And of course, it is a temple of fashion and a sure value for trends.
