Things to do

Visit
France

Visit outstanding cultural attractions or take a hike amongst the peaks? A romantic tour of the wine route or a family cruise? What will this year's
French holiday bring?

Go to a festival

As in most places, summer is festival season (External link) in Paris – so consider timing your visit to coincide with one that celebrates what you’re into, whether that be music, theatre, cinema, dance or street arts.

Wednesdays are winners with the concerts at La Plage de Glazart (External link) and the family-friendly Les Pestacles (External link) in the Parc Floral, both running June to September.

Also on our hotlist for 2018 are the environmentally-conscious We Love Green (External link) (02-03 June), the Paris Jazz Festival (External link) weekenders (30 June-22 July), the British rock festival Download Festival (External link) in an abandoned air base within the Paris region (15-17 June), and the vast Cinéma en Plein Air (External link) at Parc de la Villette (18 July-19 August). The festival season will end on a high with Rock en Seine (External link) over the August bank holiday weekend.
