Disneyland Paris Goes Big For Marvel

The Rock 'n' Roller Coaster attraction of Walt Disney Studios Park and the New York Hotel will be changing their looks to feature Iron Man, the Avengers, and the rest of the Marvel superheroes. The famous park will develop three new thematic areas dedicated to Marvel, Star Wars, and Frozen, starting in 2021.

Aerosmith’s guitar riffs, which have been accompanying passengers on each turn of the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster at Walt Disney Studios Park since 2002, will soon be a memory. The attraction is set to be made over with the comic-book colors of the Marvel superheroes—specifically, those of Iron Man and Avengers. The date of its opening has, however, not yet been specified.
For this special occasion, the Hotel New York will also go in-theme with its public spaces and rooms by honoring these characters and their fantastic powers. To complete its transformation to Disney's Hotel New York-The Art of Marvel, the hotel will close temporarily in October 2018.

2021: An expanded Walt Disney Studios park
In addition to Marvel, two other thematic areas dedicated to Frozen and to Star Wars will also premiere in 2021 in the Walt Disney Studios Park. The new themes will feature fresh sets, shows and attractions. These three new worlds will be linked thanks to the future development of a large lake, also part of the new developments.

The Superheroes will be stealing the show this summer
To build the anticipation for comic fanboys and fangirls, this year Walt Disney Studios will launch "Super Heroes Summer," a Marvel special season that will commemorate Disneyland Paris' 25th anniversary celebrations.
From June 10 to September 30, this special event will be marked by a series of activities including "Marvel: The Alliance of Super Heroes", a live show full of special effects with famous characters Captain America, Spider-Man, Thor, Doctor Strange or Black Widow.
