WIN! A luxury four-night stay for a family of five on the Normandy coast for Easter 2019

Fancy getting ahead with your holiday plans for next year? Enter our competition and you could be escaping to France with the kids next spring, for a luxury stay at the new five-star Pierre et Vacances holiday village on the Presqu’île de la Touques, a stone’s throw from glamorous Deauville.

Right on the marina, the new holiday village boasts 134 apartments, two swimming pools, a fitness room and a spa. It’s the perfect base for exploring Deauville, Trouville-sur-Mer and the nearby Pays d’Auge, land of cheese and cider. The historic Presqu’île de la Touques area beside the marinas is undergoing an exciting regeneration project. As to the glorious sandy beach, peppered with colourful parasols in summer and backed by a long boardwalk and changing rooms, it remains a joy for all to enjoy.

Included in the prize are entry passes for all the family to the world-famous Bayeux Tapestry and Caen Memorial. The UNESCO-listed Bayeux Tapestry is a staggering 70m-long embroidery depicting William the Conqueror’s ascension to the English throne in 1066, as well as eleventh-century clothes, castles, ships and living conditions. The Caen Memorial is an award-winning museum dedicated to peace, and a must-visit for anyone interested in World War II history. Allow half a day to visit – it is divided into sections so you can visit them at your own pace, and stop for lunch in the on-site restaurant between seeing the different exhibitions and two films.

Normandy is one of the top destinations in France for non-stop, child-friendly entertainment – whether by the seaside or in the heart of the countryside, families will find lots to see and do all year round. You can go horse-riding on Deauville’s beach, or take a half-hour boat ride from Trouville to admire the coast from a different perspective. If the weather’s warm, there are plenty of waterborne activities to burn off energy, including kayaking, kite-surfing and sand-yachting, and Trouville has a beach club for kids aged 3-13 and teenagers aged 14-18.

If you prefer to stay on dry land, head 30km out of Deauville to Cerza Zoo, where you can meet 800 different wild animals across 148 acres entirely devoted to the breeding of endangered species. Park tours and safari train excursions enable you to get up close and personal with the animals.

This prize is valid between Monday 8 April and Friday 12 April 2019, during the Easter holidays, for a family of five (two adults and three children), with return sailings from Portsmouth to Caen with Brittany Ferries. Travel in the comfort of your own car, packed with everything you need. With Brittany Ferries you can be assured of a great sailing experience to start and finish your holiday in Normandy.

On top of that, Human Race will provide you with 2 free entries for one event of your choice in 2019!
