Villages in Tignes
The Tignes ski station includes five villages: Val Claret, Tignes le Lac, Le Lavachet, Tignes les Boisses, and Tignes-les-Brévières. The first three each reach heights of 2,100 meters. Les Brévières is an older villages, while the others were all constructed more recently as part of a project to fully develp the ski station.
Skiing is open in Tignes from October to May. Starting November 30, it's time to go a bit faster - with the opening of the link between the Espace Killy Tignes - Val d'Isère.
