The Vignobles & Découvertes label aims to provide quality services and visits catering to wine tourism. The label appeals to a customer base that appreciates the world of wine without necessarily being connoisseurs, and offers a range of quality services: accommodation, cultural sites, leisure activities, cellar tours, restaurants, exploration of natural spaces, events and more.
Four destinations in Rhône Valley have been awarded the label: D'Hermitage en Saint-Joseph, Rhône Crussol, Autour des Dentelles de Montmirail and Condrieu - Côte-Rôtie.
Destination: Condrieu - Côte-Rôtie
This famous area is known for its four AOC (guarantee of origin). It is also close to the major cities of the Rhône-Alpes region.
You will be astonished by the amazing landscape from the terraced vineyards of Condrieu, Côte-Rôtie, and Saint-Joseph. On the plateaus of the Pilat Regional and Natural park reigns "La Rigotte de Condrieu" (goat cheese, which also has an AOC).
The destination offers you a wide range of 17 winemakers, 30 different kinds of accommodation, as well as a choice of 14 restaurants, offering local French cuisine in harmony with our wines.
In Vienne, a city that has received the "City of Art and History" label, offers lovers of history the opportunity to visit the Gallo-Roman Museum of Saint-Romain-en-Gal, and the medieval village of Malleval. Vienne's Jazz Festival, wine markets of Ampuis, Chavanay, and Condrieu are major events where culture and wine are intertwined throughout the year.
A selection of outdoor activities, will complete the perfect trip to this beautiful destination. Some of these activities are original such as ski-boating in Condrieu.
