Digital Arts Biennial in Aix-en-Provence and Marseille

Entitled: "Chroniques des imaginaires numériques," this international digital arts biennial is dedicated to the link between contemporary arts and technology. The Chroniques festival will take place in Aix and Marseille from November 9 to December 15, 2018.

Paying homage to transatlantic arts for this first edition, Chroniques has invited a number of artists from Quebec to showcase their latest works. The inauguration weekend, Friday and Saturday Nov 9–10, 2018, takes place in Aix-en-Provence and Marseille. Art openings, video mapping by Hungarian artists Gaspar Battha & Andras Nagy on the façade of the Conservatoire, a show by Hiroaki Umeda at the Pavillon Noir, live audio-visuals by Robert Henke at the Amphithéâtre de la Verrière, performance by Malstaff at La Cité du Livre, concerts, and more.

From now on Aix-en-Provence can celebrate digital arts and culture thanks to this digital arts biennial. Emerging digital artists rub elbows with international artists showcasing never-before-seen works.
