Calvi, on the North-West coast of Corsica

Calvi is a Genoese citadel set on the sea and surrounded by rocky mountains that cast their shadow on the waters. Birthplace of Christopher Columbus, Calvi is the ideal setting for all types of holiday. The five-mile-long beach is home to popular activities including windsurfing, waterskiing, jet skiing and paragliding. Ajaccio, the regional capital of Corsica

Renowned as Napoleon's birthplace and the largest city in Corsica, Ajaccio can be easily explored on foot. Take a stroll along its palm tree seafront or wander through the small colourful alleys next to the citadel crammed with good restaurants where you can visit “Maison Bonaparte” where Napoleon was born. Stroll through the Palais Fesch museum which collections include some wonderful Flemish and Dutch paintings and an array of Italian Old Masters (Botticelli, Titian). Take a boat trip out to the Iles Sanguinaires, so called because they are composed of granite that glows red at sunset and located about 15 km from the city centre. The lush valleys will lead you to the nearby wine properties where you will be able to experience tasting of the local wines.

Porto Vecchio on the South-Eastern coast of Corsica

Porto Vecchio provides an endless supply of things to do from water sports to mountain trekking, rock climbing or simply “farniente” in a remote cove.
