Le Cristal Spa, La Clusaz
We love this unusual spa located in the five-star Au Coeur du Village hotel. Charming from the outset with its wood and stone, it boasts a heated pool, hot tub, counter-current swimming and a range of water jets. But the real plus is on the first floor, in the zone humide, with a steam room housed in a beautiful rock crystal cave. There’s a fine selection of Cinq Mondes and Carita cosmetics in the treatment area, and couples’ massages available. A safe bet for a romantic stay in the mountains.
Le Cristal Spa
Les Sources de Marie, Arcs 1950
With its thousand square metres dedicated to wellbeing, this is one of the largest spas in the Alps – and one of the most beautiful. Wander through the original architecture, laid out in thematic alcoves alternating between hot and cold. Move from the aquatic cave with its 30-degree relaxation pool to the fountain in the ice cave, before settling into the aptly-named volcanic cave with its 45-degree sauna. Add to that the jacuzzi, multi-sensory showers and Norwegian foot baths and you have the crème de la crème of spa equipment, large enough to fill several afternoons.
PS: Don’t leave without enjoying the outdoor sauna and its splendid view of the snowy mountains. A perfect place to reflect.
Spa du Refuge de la Soulaise, Val d’Isère
Don’t miss this exceptional spa. Covering over 2,500 square metres on the slopes of Val d’Isère, the Spa du Refuge de la Soulaise is like a little jewel lost in a splendid mineral giantism. Here, more than anywhere else, the warm and comfortable atmosphere of the hammams contrasts with the harshness of the environment. The high mountain atmosphere is bolstered by Exertier cosmetics, a benchmark in traditional Savoyard herbalism. We strongly recommend you spend an afternoon and night (or two) in this upscale hideaway, where after dark, the spectacle of silence and stars is just stunning.
Montagnes du Monde Spa, Les Saisies
Situated at the foot of the slopes, the Spa Montagnes du Monde is the wellness area of the new residence Amaya MGM Les Saisies. With an infinity pool, steam room, sauna, hot tub and treatment cabins, it has everything you need to wind down after a good day on the pistes. Brave the Nordic bath at 5°C to recover muscles and spirit – and fall in love with the Pure Altitude range of treatments and its vast experience in Alpine cosmetology. Trust in this wonderful spa and give in to its expertise.

O My Chéry Spa, Les Gets
At the heart of Les Gets, the brand new O My Chéry spa brings together the best for a real wellbeing escape. First of all, quietness – adults and children are kept separate, a rare feature in Alpine spas. Take full advantage of the state-of-the-art spa equipment with, among other things (the list would be too long), a large swimming pool with counter-current, swimming line and water slides, a steam bath, sauna, sensory shower and salt lounge. All this is set in an atmosphere of mountain chic, with old wooden beams and skylights. For complexions in need of a pick-me-up we recommend the speciality facial, which uses Exertier cosmetics made from mountain honey and Alpine orchids. Excellent.
