Monet's house and gardens - Giverny

Visit lasts round 2 hours. Monet transformed a small vegetable patch into a magnificent garden with countless varieties of flowers. He turned a small pond into a lake covered in water lilies and added an oriental touch with a Japanese bridge and exotic trees. Little by little, he shaped the motifs that he would work on for over 30 years, leading to the production of, among others, the world-famous Water Lilies.
