The popular rue des Martyrs links the 9th arrondissement and Montmartre; and accounts for several renowned vintage shops like Zac & Sam, for men, Chezelle and Chiffon & Basile. jewellery, women’s clothing and products of the brand South Pigalle. In October 2012, optician and fashion designer Marc Le Bihan and jewellery designer Jean-François Mimilla opened their new space featuring eyewear, accessories and hand-made clothing. A few hundred metres away, close to Madeleine, La Chaise Longue remains an ideal place for gift ideas. The Martyrs and Pigalle district has many renowned local shops. The bakery-patisserie-caterer DelmonTel is famous for its baguette and its gourmet creations ; Causse is a grocer and also makes soups, salads and sandwiches.
