Dream Stay: Discovery of Chateaux & Prehistory in Perigord Noir Dordogne fr

Through this circuit in the Perigord Noir, discover the magical sights of the Dordogne valley, famous for its chateaux and picturesque landscapes and the valley of the Vezere Valley and secret green landscapes nestled by the most beautiful caves and sinkholes, a decorated testimony of prehistory and traces of man dating back 35,000 years.

The hotels selected for you (Sarlat and Les Eyzies ) are ideally located for discovering all the wonders of our heritage. A welcome drink will be offered on the evening of your arrival in Sarlat. Spend time in the old town of Sarlat, unless you prefer the banks of the Dordogne. At this stage a guided tour of the medieval city will be offered. The next day you will discover the beauty of the valley of the Dordogne, Montfort and Domme ( fortified village ) . You can visit the Chateau de Castelnaud in the afternoon, unless you prefer a walk or barge ride. Flying over the Dordogne will leave a lasting impression and unique vision of the valley of Chateau.

Return to Sarlat in the evening where guests can relax at the Hotel before going to dinner in town or on the banks of the Dordogne where you can enjoy a gourmet meal. The last two days will take you to the Vézère valley . You will discover the villages of Saint Genies , Lascaux II and Montignac , troglodyte villages ( La Roque Saint Christophe ), you stay in a typical hostel in the evening. To finish your stay , a gourmet dinner in Les Eyzies should leave you with a lasting memory of the Périgord
