Discovering Monet through his palate… of flavours

Monet’s series of paintings of Rouen cathedral may be known the world over, but there is another aspect of his work that has received much less attention: his recipe books. This is your chance to learn how to create a culinary composition with its own palate of colours, flavours and nuances.

Monet’s cuisine takes on a whole new dimension as your teacher for the day guides you through the precise and painstaking stages of preparing a meal worthy of the name haute cuisine. For all you food-lovers out there, whether you are experienced cooks or culinary novices, this workshop is made for you!

Régine Boidin welcomes you into her own kitchen for a culinary workshop inspired by the recipe books of Claude Monet. Working with seasonal, local produce in a small group, you will spend three to four hours helping to prepare an entrée and a main dish, to be followed by a dessert. Ingredients and equipment are provided; all you need to bring are your enthusiasm and good humour for an unforgettable culinary experience!
