Valentine’s Day race at the Buttes Chaumont park in Paris 75000 Paris fr

Organised by the Parisian runners’ association "Front Runners de Paris"; the annual fun begins in the romantic setting of the Buttes Chaumont park. Come and join in with your partner or friend; it could even be the perfect first date! The only one of its kind in the French capital, it’s your chance to put your love and endurance to the test!

Either as a pair or individually, couples and friends can take part in a 2 kilometre circuit race through the park. Individual runners will have a tougher challenge of a 10 kilometre race with a 5 minute head-start, whilst couples will follow later and complete a 6 kilometre run.

The « Opération Cupidon » (operation cupid) will once again be taking place in 2013. Solo participants will have the chance to find themselves a partner and run the 6 kilometres as a pair. Who knows, it could be the beginning of something magical!

With a mere hundred or so participants taking part in the first race, this year’s Valentine’s race will see up to 750 enthusiasts!

The Valentine’s Day race has been approved by the Comité Départemental des Courses Hors Stade de Paris and is part of the Paris Running Tour organised by TopChrono; who monitor race timings.

La Course de la Saint-Valentin revient aux Buttes Chaumont pour sa 14ème édition le 16 février 2013. C’est l’occasion de venir courir en couple dans l’entente et la bonne humeur.
