Nine stopovers from Dunkirk to Nice!
The 2015 edition will be made of 9 Acts, and the fleet of the Diam 24 will visit the three maritimes seaboards (the English Channel, the Atlantic, and the Mediterranean).
The event will start in Dunkirk, where the Tour will stop for the 30th time, whilst the last Act will be set in Nice.
In the meantime, the skippers will compete in Fécamp, Roscoff, Pornichet, Les Sables d’Olonne, Roses, Gruissan and Marseille.
The Diam 24 is the new boat for this 2015 Tour de France à la Voile. The true revolution that A.S.O chose to establish this year lies in the fact that the Diam 24 is a 7.25m trimaran!
The Tour is becoming a greater summer event ashore. 200,000 visitors came to the race villages to see the Tour de France à la Voile competitors. The Tour will once again meet its public this summer - sailing fans or not, it will be a great celebration in each of the stopovers.
In each town, one day will be dedicated to the short and spectacular stadium racing, with live commentary and music. And the other day will see some coastal expedition races to showcase some iconic parts of the French coast.
