New: First French national "Fête de la Montagne"

Like the “Fête de la Musique”, the last week-end of June will be the one for all mountains in France: more than 150 events are planned everywhere in the Alps, Pyrénées, Massif Central, Jura and Vosges.

Sports, culture, heritage, gastronomy, the variety of activities will satisfy everyone.

Where does the “Fête de la Montagne” come from?

This event is organized by a large network of mountain actors: alpine clubs, mountain guides offices, tourism offices, hotels… all linked to the “Coordination Montagne”. They all take a part in organizing locally the “Fête de la Montagne” events. They all want to promote a new vision of the mountain and to invite people to discover their territories and activities.
