Les Plages Electroniques in Cannes
Transforming the beach of the Palais des Festivals in Cannes into a huge and ephemeral dance floor, enjoying the music with feet in the sand and overlooking the blue sea. That was a crazy bet, raised with art and skill since 2006 and coming back again in 2013 for its 8th edition.
Only Electronic Music festival to devote a public beach on the French coast for Electro music fans, Les Plages Electroniques (Electronic Beaches) experienced a real success since the very beginning, with a simple concept but extremely effective; presenting the electro mainstream and making it accessible to everyone through a quality program and low price tickets.
During the previous edition, nearly 60,000 spectators (800% increase compared to the first edition in 2006) have left their footprints on the sandy beach of Cannes, proving that Les Plages Electroniques has conquered far more hearts than just those of real electro musics’ aficionados.
Les Plages Electroniques has a lot to offer, which made it in only six years, number one music festival in the South East of France.
