International Chocolate Fair
The 22nd edition of the Salon Mondial du Chocolat (International Chocolate Fair) will welcome chocolatiers from the world over to Paris’s Porte de Versailles exhibition hall.
The 700 exhibitors include chocolatiers (220!), pastry chefs and confectioners, as well as some of the most important chefs, and cocoa experts, all there to share their chocolate recipe suggestions, speak at conferences and demonstrate some of their chocolate skills at workshops. Enough to keep any chocoholic happy!
The Salon du Chocolat was indeed the first place to bring the worlds of fashion and chocolate-making together, which has resulted in the creation of some exceptional – if only ephemeral - couture garments.
The chocolate catwalk show is a highlight of the fair and takes place daily but, if you miss it, the costumes will also be on show in an exhibition space – open to all – when not being modelled in person.
