    All about volcanos.

Vulcania invites you to find out everything you ever wanted to know about volcanos!
This scientific and tourist-friendly leisure park allows visitors to experience simulated earthquakes, molten lava flows, hot springs and mud pools.

Seamlessly integrated into the landscape and carved out of volcanic rock, Vulcania is largely buried in the volcanic bedrock. The Austrian architect Hans Hollein designed Vulcania drawing inspiration from nature, Romanesque architecture and the volcanic rock of Auvergne, using harmonious materials and colours to create a restrained and elegant design.
Giving "an emotional dimension to the complex", the architect has created a scene dedicated to the beauty of the Earth, which through its volcanoes, reminds us of the fragility of life.
