Rendez-vous in Saint-Valentin
As well as the annual February celebrations, the village lovingly welcomes visitors all year round!
Saint-Valentin is the only village in France which shares its name with the patron saint of romance. The theme of love is present throughout the village; couples can lose themselves in the specially designed romantic gardens, and browse the unique kiosques which bring Raymond Peynets romantic drawings to life.
The village truly comes to life in the run-up to February 14 when the locals decorate their houses with hearts and flowers. Themed dinner parties take place in the salle des fêtes, and special Sunday masses are held as a celebration for lovers.
Take in the tranquillity of a picturesque rural village with a leisurely stroll through Saint-Valentin; where melodic street names are ornately engraved on heart-bearing plaques; a poetic testament to a truly unique region.
