    Rendez-vous in the Restonica Gorges

    An invigorating river experience.

The Restonica river rises in Lake Melo, in the Rotondo massif, and completes its winding course, at the bottom of the gorge, some 1,311 metres below, before emptying into the Tavignano river near Corte.
The delightful walk from the Bergeries (stone huts) de Grotelle to Lake Melo or Lake Capitello takes you through beautiful countryside, with marvellous views which you can enjoy from below and above.

The waters of the Restonica form a succession of natural cold and tepid pools, a lovely place to dip your feet or -if you're really hardy - swim!
