Palace of Tau - Musée de l'Œuvre

    Religious treasures…

The Palais de Tau is the old archbishop's palace dated to the 12th century and redesigned in 1690. It is today home to the Musée de l'Œuvre, a display of artwork from the cathedral's history. Admire a veritable treasure trove of tapestries, statues and other ornaments displayed in a chronological sequence, illustrating the cathedral's history of coronation ceremonies.

Be sure to visit the Tau Hall, or Salle du Tau, where banquets were held after the ceremony.
