    The Loire Châteaux dotted around the Loire Valley are listed as world heritage sites by UNESCO.

    Throughout the Loire, there are 21 different and unique châteaux to visit and explore.  Nowhere else in Europe can you find such a large number of châteaux in one area.

    You can begin to understand some of the history of France through visiting these majestic châteaux and their gardens. In addition to visiting the châteaux, you can also explore the surrounding areas, which boast great natural heritage, top gastronomy, and renowned wines.

  •  Rendez-vous at the Château and gardens of Villandry

    Villandry was the last of the great Loire Châteaux to be built in the Renaissance period. Boasting remarkable harmony in its architecture and its gardens, the estate is famous most of all for its grounds, set on three levels and combining aesthetic beauty, diversity and harmony.

    At the border between Anjou and Touraine, Château de Langeais comprises two exceptional buildings: the Foulques Nerra tower and the castle of Louis XI. The former is the oldest keep in France, while the latter is double-faceted: feudal on the town side, with its drawbridge still in perfect working condition, and Renaissance in style on the courtyard side.
