    Ecrins National Park

    France’s largest national park.

    With 170 sq km of glaciers, 300 sq km of forests and 368 sq km of alpine meadows, Écrins is the largest and arguably most spectacular of France’s nine national parks. Its highest point is the 4,102-m Barre des Écrins mountain. 80,000 people come here every year to enjoy the climbing, skiing, well-maintained footpaths, breathtaking scenery and excellent visitor facilities.

    Across the 92,000 hectares, the range of altitudes, colours, landscapes, flora and fauna offers something for everyone.
