Rendez-vous at Centre National du Costume de scène in Moulins
A completely unique establishment, both in France and abroad, the Centre National du Costume de Scène, in Auvergne, is dedicated to the performing arts heritage and open to the general public and to professionals.
Its collections comprise some 10,000 costumes and scenery, from the theatre, opera and dance, like the Opéra National de Paris and the Comédie-Française, from the mid-19th century to the present day.
The Centre National du Costume de Scène (CNCS) occupies the Quartier Villars, a majestic cavalry barracks built during the reign of Louis XV, a classified Monument Historique.
